Britain's GHG cuts in 2008 deeper than in France

The UK achieved deeper greenhouse gas (GHG) emission cuts than France in 2008, according to figures released by the two countries on Tuesday. Britain reports a 1.9% cut compared with just 0.6% on the other side of the Channel.
