Restrictions on ethyl lauroyl arginate in cosmetics

Use of ethyl lauroyl arginate, a substance mainly used in soaps, shampoos and roll-on deodorants must not exceed 0.8% of a finished product after March 2011, following the publication of new cosmetics rules in the EU's official journal.
