MEPs urge specific GHG value for dirtiest fuels
A coalition of MEPs has joined a call for a specific default value for calculating the life-cycle greenhouse gas (GHG) intensity of the dirtiest fossil fuels under the 2009 fuel quality directive. For example, environmentalists say fuels from tar sands emit more CO2.
