Unspent EU recovery funds 'could go to cities'

Energy commissioner Günther Oettinger has proposed that unspent EU economic recovery funds currently amounting to €115m should be directed to regional and local sustainable energy projects. Green MEPs estimate this figure could grow to €400m.
