Portugal exposed over illegal toxic waste dump

The Portuguese state illegally dumped 320,000 tonnes of toxic waste in a disused mine in Gondomar, northern Portugal, between 2001 and 2002, according to a national TV documentary broadcast this week, prompting a call for an EU investigation.
