30% CO2 cut ‘would cost Lithuania €685m’

Increasing the EU’s 2020 carbon reduction target to 30% would cost the Lithuanian economy LTL 2.36bn* (€685m), according to a report from the country’s foreign affairs ministry. The impact of a 30% target will be debated nationally on 14 April.
