Endosulfan facing global ban at POPs meeting

Parties to the Stockholm convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) will decide whether to eliminate use of pesticide endosulfan at a meeting in Geneva this week. The convention's review committee recommended an international ban last year.
