IEA: 25% cut in CO2 from buildings achievable

Heating and cooling technologies such as solar thermal, heat pumps and thermal energy storage could reduce global CO2 emissions from buildings by up to 2 gigatonnes by 2050, the International Energy Agency (IEA) has said.
