Council gives final nod to revised RoHS law

The revised RoHS directive on hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) was rubber-stamped by the Council of Ministers on Friday, the final legislative hurdle before becoming law. The rules were backed by MEPs in November.
