Slovakia demands €27bn to clean up eastern states

The EU should allocate €27bn between 2014 and 2020 for the remediation of contaminated land in ex-Soviet countries where the former owner of the land is not known and therefore the 'polluter pays' principle does not apply, says Slovakia.
