MEP calls for stricter EU rules on marine fuels

A 0.1% limit on the sulphur content of fuels used by passenger ships should apply from 2015, according to the MEP leading the European Parliament's debate on a revision of the marine fuels directive. The European Commission wants the limit to begin in 2020.
