Surplus EUAs likely for some airlines

Some airlines could profit from their entry into the EU emissions trading scheme (ETS) next year, according to data from the Anglo-Welsh Environment Agency. The data show Emirates and Cathay Pacific might end up with surplus allowances (EUAs).
