Polish firm pulls out of Baltic nuclear project

Poland's state-owned energy company PGE has said that it is pulling out of a joint Baltic project to build a new nuclear power plant in Visaginas, Lithuania. The aim is to replace the Soviet-era Ignalina plant which closed down after the country joined the EU.
