Danish grid needs major upgrade, says IEA

Denmark must significantly upgrade its grid and strengthen regional interconnections if it wants carbon-free electricity by 2050, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said in a report on Wednesday. The country needs to invest €753m for the period up to 2020.
