Danish business seeks CO2 tax incentives
The Danish industry confederation has called for discussions with environment minister Svend Auken on a proposal to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) taxes for businesses investing in green energy projects abroad. "This is something we have wanted for a long time, and there is no doubt that it would make it more interesting for our companies to invest in environmental projects," said the body's energy spokesman, Niels Gram. "All we need is to link CO2 trading and Danish energy policy." See Danish Industry.
