Norway's Fridtjof Nansen Institute has announced a new edition of its yearbook of international cooperation on environment and development, produced with financial support from several Norwegian government agencies. The 2001/2 edition describes 60 international agreements on environment and sustainable development and profiles 50 relevant international organisations and NGOs. A series of accompanying essays tackle issues such as global governance, ISO environmental standards, the Gothenburg multi-effects air pollution protocol and recent developments regarding the UN Basel convention.
