Switzerland hosts alpine transport summit

Representatives of six European governments plus the European Commission met in Zurich on Friday to discuss the future of alpine road transport. Participants debated how to reduce environmental impacts while at the same planning for improvements to the economic performance of the alpine transport network, the Swiss transport ministry said.
