Norway's process industry fears espionage
Norwegian manufacturers have complained to the government that official environmental monitoring is putting them at risk of industrial espionage and even terrorism. In an open letter circulated to national media yesterday, trade association PIL argues that the national environment agency SFT's regular reports on corporate compliance with environmental legislation are too accessible to the public and too often include commercially sensitive data or security details.
