Norway "failing on green products"
Most Norwegian educational institutions that teach industrial design put far too little emphasis on environmental issues, the country's Design council has complained. Norway is in danger of becoming "an environmental sink" unless it does more to foster eco-design, said the council's head, Jan Stavik. Mr Stavik's statement came just as the Norwegian school of management, BI, reported today that Norwegian consumers are far less willing than many other Europeans to pay for more eco-friendly products.
