UK farm biotech advisors "complacent"
Britain's official advisors on agricultural biotechnology were last week branded "complacent" by Friends of the Earth after they suggested that significant levels of gene flow from genetically modified (GM) oilseed rape shown in a government report was "entirely within expectations". The environmental group reiterated its opposition to GM oilseed rape commercialisation and called on the government to "consider the full facts".
