EU-US climate science dialogue progresses
European and American representatives have begun to sketch out a joint climate change science research programme under a cooperation agreement reached last April (EED 24/04/02). The two sides held a first detailed meeting in Washington D.C. last week. A further meeting is scheduled for October. See joint statement.
