Danish firms seek help to cut climate gases
The Danish confederation of industry (DI) has called for government subsidies to help meet greenhouse gas limitation targets under the Kyoto protocol. While welcoming the emphasis on flexible mechanisms in the national climate strategy launched last month (EED 27/2/03), DI environment director Kim Graugaard told a conference yesterday that companies would still require "an environmental support framework" in order to implement their own emission reduction measures.
