Project to fight "green trafficking" launched
The UN environment programme (Unep) has launched a bid to improve intelligence, information and cooperation among the various agencies that fight illegal trade in ozone-depleting substances, toxic chemicals, hazardous wastes and endangered species. Global turnover from such activities is put at about €30bn.
