Companies report on climate care efforts
A group of six EU companies this week pledged to influence their customers to use energy-saving light bulbs. The so-called Business leaders initiative on climate change (Blicc) was launching its second progress report in Brussels. Blicc was created a year ago by retailers Ikea and Body Shop, carpet tile maker Interface and energy companies Nuon and Berka Energi (EED 16/04/02). The latter is not listed in the organisation's latest statement, but DHL Express Nordic and Stora Enso have both joined. See Blicc parent organisation Respect Europe.
