Trittin urges EU-wide natural gas fuel network
Jürgen Trittin, Germany's environment minister, on Thursday called for the establishment of a Europe-wide network of natural gas fuelling stations for cars. The minister made his statement after being presented with a study demonstrating that more widespread use of natural gas as a road fuel would bring significant environmental benefits. The report was produced by economics think-tank the Wuppertal institute and sponsored by an industry association that supports the use of natural gas.
