Business sustainability guidelines launched
A set of "practical guidelines" for organisations to manage sustainability issues was launched in London on Tuesday after four years of development. The Sigma project is backed by Britain's industry ministry, the UK standards body, environmental groups and industrial and service companies. The initiative is being claimed by its backers as "the world's first systematic approach to business sustainability". See Sigma project.
