Global framework proposed for CSR
The UK's industry ministry on Monday launched a draft global framework for corporate social responsibility (CSR) to "spread best practice, encourage innovation" and deliver practical solutions to global challenges such as climate change. In order to avoid duplication of similar initiatives, the government pledged to continue to support existing global initiatives led by bodies such as the UN and the OECD.
