Blue Angel ecolabel extends its reach
Europe's largest product ecolabelling scheme, the Germany-based Blue Angel, has announced award criteria for two new product groups. Products can qualify if they avoid use of cadmium and halogenated chemicals and can demonstrate minimum robustness. A low-pollution upholstered furniture label is mainly targeted at minimising emissions of volatile organic compounds. See Blue Angel, and press release.
