EU sustainable chemistry platform launched
Europe's chemicals and biotechnology industries have joined forces with the European Commission to boost the chemical sector's competitiveness by increasing spending on research and innovation. The technology platform on sustainable chemistry will develop a strategic research agenda aimed at bringing to market "new sustainable products and services" and achieving "more eco-efficient chemicals manufacturing".
