Swedes launch climate change publicity drive
Public and private bodies in Sweden have launched a joint public information campaign aimed at raising public awareness of global warming. "ClimateAid" aims to "inspire individuals, corporations and governments to work together" to cut greenhouse gas emissions. The initiative's first corporate partner is power firm Sydkraft. It has a draft budget of €10m for advertising campaigns and live events. See press release and ClimateAid website.
