Multilingual environmental dictionary out

Finland's environment ministry and environment institute have launched a new multi-lingual environmental dictionary presenting over 6,000 terms in nine languages (English, French, German, Swedish, Finnish, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Russian). Endic2004 expands on a first edition published four years ago, which presented 4,500 terms in six languages. Many of the new terms relate to EU legislation or international conventions, according to the Finnish environment institute. See press release.
