Guide to EU green policies published

Campaign coalition the European environmental bureau (EEB) has launched a detailed reference guide to EU green legislation. A key aim of the handbook is to help national NGOs better understand the legal framework. The report also calls for resistance to what it calls current attacks on environmental rules which it says are "based by populism rather than on careful analysis". EU environment commissioner Stavros Dimas helped launch the handbook in Brussels on Thursday. See EEB press release and the handbook.
