Environment agencies update web resources

European Environment Agency, Scottish Environment Protection Agency launch new-look sites

The European Environment Agency (EEA) and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) have both launched new web sites with improved and expanded information resources. The new EEA site went online today following an extensive redesign to make it simpler for web users to navigate. Information resources have been grouped in more straightforward categories, while a search facility has been added, making it possible to search all EEA information using keywords. Meanwhile, SEPA has relaunched its web site and added new information to it. The site now presents a summary of the latest SEPA annual report, consultation papers on waste policy and marine fish farming and press releases, as well as general information about the agency.
