French sustainability strategy evaluated

French environment minister Serge Lepeltier presented a first evaluation of the country's sustainable development strategy to the council of ministers on 1 December. The strategy was launched in mid-2003 (EED 03/06/03). As well as reviewing progress in the strategy's first 18 months the evaluation also suggests future priorities. It has been issued alongside a report on national indicators for sustainable development. See evaluation.
