Rival green forestry schemes "both beneficial"

The schemes have yet to bring significant economic benefit to Scandinavian forest owners, the study also finds. But it predicts that they could do so in future. In a related development, PEFC recently called on governments, especially in the EU, to harmonise approaches to timber procurement policies. See Nordic family forestry press release and PEFC press release.
