Poland aims for energy-neutral growth to 2030

The Polish government adopted a long-term national energy strategy on Tuesday with the overall goal of achieving "zero-energy economic growth", or economic growth without an increase in energy consumption, by 2030.

The immediate priority is to pass and enforce energy efficiency legislation on which “the achievement of all the energy policy’s goals will depend", the government says. Energy efficiency investments will be backed by preferential loans and subsidies.
