The green credentials of the proposed post-2020 Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) reform are not well defined nor quantified, according to a European Court of Auditors (ECA) opinion published on Wednesday.

“The proposal does not reflect a clear increase in environmental and climate ambition”, the opinion reads, echoing criticism by the European Parliament's legal service, EU agriculture ministers and left-wing MEPs and campaigners.
