Swedish report on sustainable development

Annual update details efforts at all levels of government, joint talks with business

An annual report on Swedish efforts to achieve sustainable development has been presented to parliament. The report details progress made at all levels of government, including joint work with the private sector.

Yesterday's publication marks the last time such an item-by-item update will be published. Next year, the ministry will expand reporting substantially by adding indicators to track progress toward fulfilment of the country's newly-adopted environmental objectives (EED 04/05/01).
