Environment ministers to debate Reach, post-Kyoto prospects and better regulation in Luxembourg

EU environment ministers will gather in Luxembourg on Monday for their first formal council meeting under the UK presidency. Discussions will be dominated by policy debates on Reach, better regulation and post-2012 climate policies.


After an informal agreement among competitiveness ministers last week on substance registration requirements, environment ministers will tackle the specific issue of registering substances sold in products.
