A European stakeholder platform for capture and storage of carbon dioxide from fossil fuel power generation was launched in Brussels on Thursday. * In a related development, on 30 November the UK and Norwegian governments agreed to set up a task force to develop regulations for large-scale CO2 storage under the North Sea.
