The International energy agency enraged environmentalists on Tuesday by advising governments to expand their nuclear power capacity to help combat climate change. Furious green groups accused the IEA of contradicting its own previous analysis and "adding a nuclear nightmare to the global climate crisis".
In its latest annual World energy outlook report, the IEA warns that on current trends the world is facing an energy future that is "dirty, insecure and expensive".
