EU ministers talk deforestation, GMOs, mercury

Environment council adopts EU positions on anti-deforestation measures and global mercury phase-out

Ministers adopted a resolution on European commission proposals to fund the fight against tropical deforestation (EED 17/10/08), as a contribution to international-level discussions on the issue at UN climate talks in Poznań, Poland (EED 01/12/08).
