The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has published a list of the 156 chemicals that have so far been registered under the EU’s REACH chemicals regulation. The list is based on registration dossiers submitted by companies before 24 September 2009.
Not all substances that have been registered are included on the list because of ongoing concerns about releasing confidential information, according to ECHA. The agency says it is still finalising its EUCLID-5 and REACH-IT systems, and that the full database will be ready by the end of 2009.
