Industry wants more support for eco-innovation

Governments must provide more funding and new policies to reverse under-investment in eco-innovation by the private sector, delegates said at an OECD conference in Paris on Thursday.

Economic recovery funds for eco-innovation in Europe and the US have been insufficient, delegates said. EU businesses and governments have grown increasingly alarmed at being significantly outspent by Asian countries on green economic recovery funds.
