The final texts of revised directives on energy labelling and the energy performance of buildings (EPBD) have been published, reflecting political agreements reached earlier this week between MEPs and EU governments.
The labelling text confirms the directive's extension to cover "energy-related products", defined as "any good having an impact on energy consumption during use". This is in line with the recent extension of a related EU law on product ecodesign.
