Pressure to ban endocrine disruptors in Denmark

A consumer group has compiled a list of cosmetic products on the Danish market which contain chemicals on an EU list of suspected endocrine disruptors. The Danish Consumer Council's list is part of a campaign to ban these substances in Denmark.

Members of the public were asked to identify products containing any of the 17 cosmetics chemicals on the EU list. Manufacturers using such chemicals include Clarins, Nivea, Dove, Garnier, Lancôme and L'Oréral, according to the Danish group.
