Just 121 of the 600 biggest brands in Britain have emissions targets in line with the country's reduction target for 2020, according to ENDS Carbon's first annual survey published on Wednesday. It is based on data from the Carbon Disclosure Project.
The survey names T-Mobile, Dell and BMW as some of the best performers in their sectors. For example, BMW has a carbon intensity of 19.8 tonnes of CO2 equivalent per million dollars of revenues compared to a sector average of 42.5 tonnes.
