Growing up in England’s West Country, Tom Burke developed an early passion for the beauty and magic of nature. A child of the 1960s, he enjoyed the cold waters of the Atlantic as a pioneer surfer while embracing the revolutionary spirit of the era’s countercultures. "There was a reflex to challenge things you didn’t like," is how he sums up that decade.
