America on the front foot

The US is making its presence known here in Copenhagen and is seeking to take the lead. They have set up a US Center which takes up one of the halls in the Bella Centre and rivals the long established EU Pavillion which has been present at many COPs.

The US Centre will be operating almost 24/7 and will feature wall to wall presentations on almost any subject, including lunchtime presentations for the next eight days from eight members of the President's Cabinet starting today with Lisa Jackson, EPA. There will be a mystery guest next week.
