Revisions to Gothenburg Protocol take shape

The executive body of the UNECE Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution is due to finalise revisions to the Gothenburg Protocol on air pollution at a meeting in Geneva this week, based on expert advice.

The Working Group on Strategies and Review presented a series of amendments on Tuesday, including changes to the protocol's main provisions and revisions to its annexes, which contain emission limit values for some pollutants.
